I suffer from osteoarthritis of the left knee, and as this can be applied several times in a day, it creates a warm & soothing sensation to my knee which helps enormously to greatly reduce the searing pain when walking, particularly on uneven surfaces. Pernaton Gell is easy to apply, being readily spread and on being massaged into the problem area is readily absorbed. The herbal and other ingredients are similar to those found in other preparations but are further supported by the green lipped mussel extract and this seems to be effective in many cases of joint arthroses, a fact also endorsed by scientific studies. However those who expect a rapid response,such as is expected from the usual allopathic drug treatments--- which in fact treat symptoms rather than underlying causes-- need to be patient. Products such as Pernaton need to be used over a long period, several times a day, to facilitate the changes within the affected joints leading to permanent improvement.
It is consequently desireable to also take Pernaton capsules in conjunction with topical application of the gel.
