My 75 year old mother has osteoporosis but at the moment seems to be suffering from muscular back pain - she is swalling ibuprofen by the dozen - is this product likely to make any difference to her?

we have had many good reports from Fortadol users of the pain relief effects, and because this a totally natural product there are no side effects reported or restrictions to its use it may well lessen your mums dependence on other pain killers

My friend told me about this product and I was wondering if it would be suitable for my Mother who is 84 and in a lot of pain with Osteoperosis and arthritis. She takes paracetamol and is also on Tramadol 50 mg twice a day which isn't making any difference to her. Her stomach is easily upset so I wonder if this product would be suitable for her. I would appreciate any advice as we don't seem to be getting anywhere with her GP.

HealthStuff have had good reports from Fortadol users of the pain relief effects, and it is a popular product for this type of pain. It is a natural product there are no side effects reported or restrictions to its use. Other people buy if for the same reason so it may be worth trying.

can fortodol safely be taken by persons on medication for high blood pressure and hrt medication
HealthStuff Replies:
|
All the information from the Swedish manufacturer is that Fortadol is very well tolerated by those on other medications, and those you speak of for high blood pressure and h r t are generally fine. Fortadol is made from concentrated tumeric which is a food. If you have any doubt please consult the doctor who has prescribed your medication

My problem is plantar fascitis the pain is very severe at times. I have been taking this remedy for a few weeks now. It did ease at the beginning but is severe again. I was wondering could I take two capsules per day for a while to see if that relives the pain. Thank you
HealthStuff Replies:
|
It appears to me you are only taking one capsule per day this for you would not be enough and I would suggest you take 4 capsules daily for one month then reduce to 2 capsules daily. please let us know how this works

I have read through the long list of medication you are taking, and I would hope you could reduce your dependence on these drugs, some of which will cause there own side effects with time. Yes I am sure Fortadol will be of great help with pain relief and act as a powerful anti inflammatoryand will not react with your other medication,I would hope after a week or so you will not need other forms of pain relief

I totally disagree with the statement 'should be ok to take during pregnancy' what about the level of phenylalanine in this product, surely it would not be wise to use any product containing this amino acid!
HealthStuff Replies:
|
phenylalanine is a naturally available amino acid found in many every day proteins, but I do understand your point and would suggest you speak to your GP before taking any supplement during pregnacy

My father has trigeminal neuralgia and takes ibuprofen which is not helping very much - would this product be more helpful?
HealthStuff Replies:
|
Fortadol would be well worth a try because we have found lots of areas of use which one might not have thought of. Fortadol works to clear imflamation and this may be the underlying cause of the trigeminal neuralgia effect the facial muscles.
If you would like to try a sample at no cost please let us have your name and address and we can send you some to try

Hi
I'm a long term sufferer of chronic pain and take a mix of MST [210mg] and Sevredol [120mg] daily plus 6-weekly infusions of phenatoin. I'd love to reduce dependence on any / all of these but meantime - how safe to take Fortodol at the same time as these?
HealthStuff Replies:
|
I understand your problem and the mix of drugs you have you take is a major concern. I am sure you will be able to take Fortadol ok as it is a totally natural food source of tumeric, the thing to do would be to monitor very closely any change in symptoms after taking Fortadol and hopefully these will be a reduction in dependence on your other medications, many others have found this to be the case

My friend has been using FORTODOL for her rheumatic arthritis two years ago (the brand was bought in Sweden). She has now breast cancer and was operated. She is undergoing chemio and has pain after each treatment: can FORTODOL help her in pain relief ??
Also: do your company sell the product PRODUCED IN SWEDEN ??
HealthStuff Replies:
|
This a difficult question to answer because of the nature of the problem, but I would be very happy with any safety issues regarding Fortadol together with any treatment your friend may be having and would suggest she takes 2 capsules 3 times daily for a few weeks and then reduce the dose as required.
The Fortadol we supply is the same product you were having from Sweden manufactured by Hela Pharma
