After being diagnosed with a cholesterol level of 6.1 which then rose to 6.9 after I tried exercising without dietary changes, then reduced to 6.5 with vigorous exercise and dietary changes (all this over a six month period), I tried Red Yeast Rice for one month but this time employing both exercise and not particularly strict diet regime. My cholesterol level reduced to 5.8. Tried another two months of Red Yeast Rice without exercise nor strict diet regime and cholesterol reduced to 4.78. My dosage was two tablets per day.
