Red yeast rice is a substance extracted from rice that has been fermented with a type of yeast called Monascus purpureus. Studies showed that red yeast rice products contain substantional amounts of monacolin K that help block the production of cholesterol by reducing the low-density lipoprotein LDL often called "bad cholesterol". Each tablet of Health Aid Red Yeast Rice provides 2.85mg of monacolin K, which contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. The formula has the added benefits of Chromium to help regulate blood sugar levels.

Red Yeast rice standardised extract (Monascus purpureus ), Chromium Picolinate, Bulking Agents [(microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), calcium hydrophosphate, sodium carboxymethyl starch), Anti-caking Agents (veg. magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide)].
Directions:
Adults, two tablets daily, can be increased to 3 tablets.
