These tablets are made to an exclusive process and comprise 74% vegetable material with the minimum of excipients necessary to from the tablet. This material is rich in three important types of fibre - Hemicellulose 42%, Cellulose 28%, Pectin 27% (plus Lignin 3%, which acts like fibre in the digestive system). Sugar Beet Fibre contributes to an increase in faecal bulk.
The tablets are bland and are able to absorb about 8 times their own weight in water.
