Parasol 25 Kids From £17.99
Parasol 25+ Kids is a unique silicone based lotion specially formulated for childrens delicate skin. Thanks to its extreme durability to water and perspiration, it is ideal for use when swimming.
Parasol UVA/UVB filters provide 25 times more natural protection against UVB rays as well as helping to protect against sunburn and long term UVA induced skin damage, while still allowing tanning.
An Active Anti Ageing System including herbal extracts may help reinforce the skin's natural UV rays defences against fine lines and wrinkles and neutralises cell damaging free radicals.
Parasol is enriched with moisturisers to help prevent peeling and to leave your skin silky smooth. And because it doesn't leave sticky residue, it is ideal for sandy beaches.
Remember you can still burn:
The right protection:
Young children, especially under three years, should not be exposed to direct sunlight and care should be taken with children playing in the water, as water reflects sunlight increasing the risk of sunburn.
It is essential that you select the right protection product to protect you skin from the sun's ultra violet rays.
There are two sunrays that can cause damage to your skin - UVA and UVB - and which are attributed to sunburn and premature ageing.
When you are selecting your sun protection product it is important that you choose the right sun protection factor number (SPF) for your skin type.
A SPF is a measurement of the UVB rays and identifies the sun protection time. To calculate your safe sun tanning time simply multiply your own natural protection time by the SPF number.
For example if your skin burns after approximately 15 minutes exposure to the sun without a sun protection product then multiply this time by the SPF.
15 minutes x product with SPF 10 = 150 minutes of protection.

Bought this as I wanted something for long triathlons. Used this in very hot sunny weather in France for an event over 7 hours and it was brilliant. Protected me completely all through the swimming and sweating. Easy to apply, feels greasy when you first put it on your fingers but it actually isn't. This is the kids version but I use it as an adult.

This sun cream is brilliant, I am on my 2nd bottle and this has kepy my fair skinned 5 year old from burning. This is one of the only all day sun creams that is all day, most are just for 6 hours, which I do not class as all day. I was not that happy when it came and saw it was an oil, but goes on well and is not greasy. We have now bought the 15+ for us. Would recommend this sun protection.

There are five of us in the family. I tried parasol 5 years ago and I have used it ever since. I am a redhead and fair and burn very easily, when I am on holidays or at home I put it on 30 mins before going out and that is it for the day - I have not had a bad burning since. I use the same product as the kids it is just easier and again they have never burned, my husband tans easily but we all use the parasol. If I were going on a two weeks holiday I usually bring 4 and a nivea suncream just in case i missed a spot. I highly recommend this product.

i LOVE this Sun Lotion-i put it on all the kids every morning before we go to the beach and it does last all day. they do wear sun tops and sun hats and 50 factor on their faces. Sometimes, if we leave the beach and have lunch back at the house then i reapply.
My kids have olive skin, but can burn if not looked after-but they have never burnt using this.
It is easy to apply (like a mini massage), kids love it, sand doesnt stick, water doesnt affect it and it doesnt make te kids feel sticky and hotter!
The price may seem steep but it last 2 kids 2 weeks-and i think it is well worth the money.
you cant use it under 2s-a shame as they are the messiest on the beach and hardest to apply to!

I used this product on my 6 month old in very hot temps of 48-49 degrees C and he didn't get any change in his colour at all, of course we kept him in the shade as much as possible but I knew I could rely on this oil to protect him from his 1st real exposure to the sun. It was really easy to apply to a wriggly baby just like putting on massage oil so it didn't seem anything strange to him either, would definately recommend it for little ones
