I discovered this product on holidays last year after speaking to someone in a health shop about my Mum's dry eyes, which had plagued her for 4 years - unable to tolerate Australian's glarey light, she would sit inside in dark sunglasses, curtains closed, and had been unable to read or watch TV (particularly in the evening, for some reason). Various eye specialists had been unable to do anything, and it was absolutely destroying her quality of life.

Initially reluctant to start taking anything not prescribed (she's of that generational thinking), she was eventually persuaded and it's not too much to say it has revolutionised her life. Coincidentally she had just gone to a new Dry Eye clinic, and the woman there showed Mum her eye oil glands were producing solid-at-body-temp oil, so her eye surfaces were not lubricating properly and hence were scratched and dry. Within a month of using the Omega 7, Mum was hardly using drops any more (which were useless anyway) and the Dry Eye lady showed Mum her eye oil consistency was now liquid, as it should be - as a result, the surface of Mum's eyes had healed and she no longer suffered the photo-phobia associated with damaged eyes. For Mum to be able to go outside and enjoy our Aussie weather again has been fabulous, and has completely given her back her confidence and life!
