 Healthaid 5-HTP is derived naturally from an African seed griffonia simplicifolia. The body manufactures this amino acid from tryptophan, which is used to make serotonin, an important substance for normal nerve and brain function.Each Tablet Contains(average): L-5 HydroxyTryptoPhan.....50mg (from Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract) Ingredients: Mircocrystalline Cellulose, di-Calcium Phosphate, L-5 Hydroxtryptophan (Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract), hydroxy Propyl Methyl cellulose, Veg. Magnesium Stearate, Acacia Gum, Silica. Directions: Adults and children over 16 years of age, one to two tablets daily, can be increased to four if required.
